ACTION GAME MAKER has been completely revamped and reborn as ACTION GAME MAKER G!
Keeping what the MAKER series is known for, creating full-fledged 2D games with no programming required, and adds "Maker Mode," a brand-new UI that brings the series' signature ease of use.
Maker Mode is a new UI rebuilt from the ground up with increased intuitiveness in mind.
Like the RPG Maker series, the screen changes depending on the task at hand. Choose "Map," "Object," "Transitions," or "Assets" from the tabs at the top, and you'll be able to focus on the data and settings that you need. Everything else stays hidden.
No more hunting for where things are. Just start with what you want to make.

*You can also switch to the original UI at any time.
The greatest strength of the ACTION GAME MAKER series is its visual scripting, which offers unmatched freedom. Beyond side-scrolling action games, you can create games in all kinds of genres, including bullet-hell shooters, puzzle games, and top-down action RPGs.

"Stand," "Run," "Jump," "Attack"... You create movement simply by laying out a character's states as boxes and connecting them with arrows.
The triggers that switch between them, such as "when a button is pressed" or "when landing on the ground," are simply chosen from a list of prepared options.
Want your character to jump when the A button is pressed? Just set it so that "when the A button is pressed," it switches to a state that "plays the jump animation and jumps"!
Players and enemies are made the same way, without writing a single line of code. No complicated syntax to learn. Bring the movements you imagine straight to life!

Another strength of ACTION GAME MAKER G is that, like RPG Maker, it comes with a wide range of features all in one package, so you can start developing right away!

Plus many more dedicated features!
...and more!
Use every 2D feature of Godot Engine, a high-performance game engine with capabilities rivaling well-known engines like Unity and Unreal Engine. Create the kinds of visuals seen in today's latest indie games, such as dynamic lights and shadows or shader-based water.
You can also create your own visual scripting Actions and Conditions using GDScript.
