In My Name

In My Name is hybrid god game/puzzle game where you must take a sparsely populated world of primitive barbarians and - using a wide variety of god-like powers - transform it into the bustling home of several fully fledged civilizations, each of whom believe that they are the chosen ones of the distinct deity around which they worship. The truth, of course, is far more sinister: The pantheon of deities under which they toil are simply masks worn by you - and as they make war upon each other over their perceived differences it is you who stands to benefit. After all, it matters not under whose name they choose to make the ultimate sacrifice. Every soul liberated from its mortal body in zealous combat ultimately makes its way to the same place - your ravenous maw, where its life energy is devoured in an attempt to satisfy a terrible, eternal hunger.

Designed for quick play sessions of approximately thirty minutes, In My Name will challenge you across several different modes:

• A realm of connected worlds where you will steadily unlock new deities, consumable items, game modifiers and ways in which to customise the difficulty to your own preference.
• A one-shot daily challenge with leaderboards.
• A repeatable weekly challenge with leaderboards.

Raise Them Up

Select the tribes upon which to bestow the gift of enlightenment and use your powers to help them grow from scattered primitives into mighty empires whose fattened peoples are ready for your malevolent harvest. Masquerade as twelve different deities in whom these empires can choose to believe.

Protect Them From Harm

Livestock must be shielded from external threats, whether they manifest as untameable natural hazards or the predations of less fortunate primitives. Each worshipped deity gives access to four unique abilities through which to channel your power, giving you numerous paths to solve any problem.

Maintain Balance

To keep up a steady supply of delightfully juicy souls no single empire can be allowed to run amok and destroy the others. Keep them all strong, keep them all healthy and keep them all waging an unwinnable war. Use your abilities to tip the balance of power as you see fit.

Reap Your Rewards

When the time is right to start harvesting in earnest, take action to stoke violent conflict and deploy items to maximise your gains before landing the final coup de grâce.
