Tiny doodle friends live on top of your taskbar. Pet them, pick them up and toss them. Leave them running and their egg hatches on its own, or focus for 15 to 120 minutes to hatch it sooner with better odds of a rare friend. Collect all kinds of friends and give them hats and names.

Desklings turns the thin strip above your taskbar into a tiny home. Doodle-style creatures wander, nap, peek at your cursor and visit the decorations you place while you work, study or play. Clicks pass straight through to your windows, and the strip hides itself when a fullscreen game or video is running.
Rub a friend with your cursor and it closes its eyes while little hearts float up. Pick one up and it dangles from your cursor. Flick it and it tumbles across the desk, bounces off the nest and gets a little dizzy. Friends show how they feel with tiny doodle emotes. Scatter a few snacks and they come running, but nobody ever gets hungry and there is nothing to look after.
Leave Desklings running and the egg in the nest slowly warms up, then hatches on its own. To hatch it sooner, click the nest and start a focus session of 15 to 120 minutes. When it ends, the egg hatches right away, with better odds of a rare friend and more ink.
Friends come in all kinds of body shapes, colors, patterns, eyes, legs and head styles. Look for rare traits like star-shaped bodies, gold and berry colors, hearts, little horns and eight legs. The odds are shown right in your collection.
Your friends earn ink just by keeping you company, and faster while you focus. Spend it on 35 decorations and 18 hats, rename your friends and give each one a look of their own. Hats and decorations for Halloween, winter, Lunar New Year and spring are always available, not just in season.
Friends water the flowers, fish in the pond, watch a little bird peek out of the birdhouse and blow on the windmill until it spins. Put out a swing, seesaw, slide, trampoline, hammock or bubbles and they take turns playing, greet each other and play tag. Scatter some snacks from the nest menu and they come running.
