About

Doctor Moore's World of Creatures is a turn-based strategy game that drops up to six different creatures onto a single, sprawling world map — 74 territories across six continents — and lets them loose on each other. How it plays. 2–6 players on one screen, pass-and-play. Each player picks a creature, Ants, Spiders, Frogs, Lizards, Butterflies or Bees  and a spin of the wheel sets turn order. Territories are dealt out at random, so no two games open the same way. The first turn starts quick, just place your 5 free creatures and decide if you are going to attack or not. Every turn runs the same four steps after the first turn. Buy creatures, attack, move then collect resources. Resource territories pay $5 each, or $10 each once you hold that entire continent and surrounding islands. Basic creatures cost $5; upgraded ones cost $10–$20 and roll bigger dice. Attacks are resolved with dice, one round at a time. After each round you choose to roll again or retreat. Capture a territory and you get one shot at a bonus: type the territory's name correctly (or close enough) and earn an extra $5 toward next turn's reinforcements.  Win by controlling three full continents plus their surrounding islands. Every creature has a different ability. Ants build Ant Mounds, defending Ants there roll two dice each. Spiders launch web attacks, striking one territory from several of their own at once. Bull Frogs hop over a territory to hit the one behind it.  Lizards hide creatures in camouflage; attackers don't know they're there until the defense springs. Butterflies have a one-time Migrate Power that gathers all but one on each territory then swarms into a single territory. Bees have the ability to attack, retreat and attack again. A running turn log keeps the players updated.
