In this prison, cigarettes are currency. Talk to inmates, watch patrols and look for opportunities to slip past the guards.
PROCEDURE ZERO blends first-person stealth with psychological horror. The institution is the enemy. You carry no weapon and you never kill anyone.
WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO
- Read the routine. Learn what gives you away: sightlines, noise, and the places you are not supposed to be.
- Listen to people. Talk to prisoners and trade cigarettes for information.
- Create an opening. Use the radio to draw a guard's attention away.
- Count the cost. Energy limits how long you can run and stay sharp. Cigarettes are currency. Getting caught costs you cigarettes, never your right to try again.
- Check the record. Notes and traces in the world say more than the announcements. Decide for yourself who — and what — to believe.
DO NOT FIGHT THE SYSTEM. SURVIVE IT.
The prison follows its own rules. The problem is that none of them can explain your presence.
