■ Oshi Mascot is a free base app. Characters are sold separately as DLC.

Oshi Mascot is the free base app that runs a desktop mascot.

No character is included in this free app. To have a mascot live on your desktop, you need a character DLC, sold separately. The first one is "Oshi Mascot - Himena Nome", a princess VTuber from the Fresh Whip Kingdom.

Without a character DLC, the app starts and shows a guidance dialog, but no mascot is displayed.

■ What this free app includes

• The program that runs the mascot: transparent window rendering, click-through and always-on-top behaviour
• A system tray icon and right-click menu: switch modes, turn strolling on or off, turn speech bubbles on or off, change the volume, and pick a size (S / M / L)
• Guidance for the character DLC: open its Steam store page, and after purchase press "Re-check" to start using it right away
• Note: no character 3D model, voice lines or songs are included. On its own, this app displays no mascot.

■ What a character DLC adds

The following become available once you own the character DLC "Oshi Mascot - Himena Nome" (sold separately).

• Strolls around - she walks across your desktop with three different walking animations, picked at random each time she sets off.
• Loves being petted - pet her with the mouse and she gets bashful. The more you pet her, the more her bond grows, and her reactions and lines change with it.
• Pick her up - drag her anywhere you like. When you let go, she holds her skirt down until she lands.
• Takes a break - every so often she sits down, hugs her knees and rests with her hands together.
• Singing mode - Nome picks up a microphone and sings, lips moving along with the song.
• Talks to you - short lines in a speech bubble, chosen to match morning, afternoon, evening or night.
• Never in your way - everywhere except Nome herself, your clicks and drags go straight through to the app underneath. Open another window and she is still there. Small when you need to focus, large when you want her company.

■ For the Nomukko

The character on your desktop is Himena Nome's official 3D model (VRM).

She loves to sing, and she is a little shy around new people - exactly the Nome you know from her profile.
