About
Falk is a choice-driven 2D CRPG set inside a mysterious institute of rehabilitation known as Kurat. Build your character, develop skills and perks, recruit companions, and resolve the mystery of the institute through stealth, force, deception, knowledge, or empathy. Every successful check and difficult decision shapes the story, determining your path through the institute and which of five endings awaits you.
Light is both protection and danger: expose the ember to see and interact with the world, or cover it to remain hidden.
Enemies hunt differently: Shadows rely on sight, while the Listener reacts to footsteps, landings, thrown objects, and creaking floors.
Choices change the journey: dialogue approaches, companions, abilities, reputations, and earlier decisions affect later chapters and the finale.
A handcrafted nightmare world: five distinct chapters, environmental storytelling, grotesque spaces, procedural pixel artwork, and reactive audio.
Multiple ways through problems: sneak, distract, hide, climb, deceive, investigate, or confront depending on the character you build.
