About

Trang is eighteen. Her home is like any other in that alley — a father, a mother, a little brother, a plate of cold rice waiting for someone to come home, and things nobody says out loud.

ONE DAY, ONE HOUSE, ONE GIRL

You live through a single day of Trang's life in first person: sitting in class listening to classmates gossip, cycling home, lighting the stove to cook for your brother, tidying up, waiting. No enemies to fight, no guns to fire. Only small things everyone has done.

SMALL THINGS

Cook a meal. Play a round of caro with a boy from class. Unclog the toilet. The game lets you linger over these trivial chores — because that is how an ordinary day goes, until it stops being ordinary.

THEN THE PHONE RINGS

There are moments the game will not tell you which choice is right. It only puts you there, and waits to see what you do.

FOUR ENDINGS

The story branches on what you do — including when what you do is nothing at all. Each ending is a different version of the same night. Replay any chapter to find the roads you missed.

A VIETNAM YOU MAY KNOW

The narrow tube house, the standing fan, the plastic table and chairs, the pavement beer stall, the dark alley. The game rebuilds a Vietnam many of us grew up in — neither prettified nor blackened.

The faces here carry the roughness of older games: imperfect, a little stiff, a little distant. That is deliberate — some things cannot be told if you look at them too directly.
