Your train is your home. But exploration comes with a clock. 
Off The Rocks is a survival-crafting game built around a mobile train base that travels with you through each expedition.
Leave the safety of your train to explore the surrounding wilderness, gather resources and bring everything you need back aboard. Craft equipment, expand your train, build storage and production facilities and prepare your moving base for the dangers ahead.
During the day, you have time to gather, build and prepare. When night falls, hostile creatures begin hunting your train. Fight them yourself, repair the damage they cause or decide that staying isn't worth the risk and drive away.
Your train is more than transportation. Expand it with additional space, storage, crafting equipment and structures. What you build aboard travels with you, turning a simple train into a mobile workshop and fortress shaped by the decisions you make during gameplay.
Leave the rails behind to explore each area on foot. Harvest natural resources, search for useful materials and return to your train before the situation becomes more dangerous.
Darkness changes the rules. Enemies target your train and its carriages, forcing you to protect the base you've spent the day building. Fight, repair and use your equipment to hold them back.
And if the fight starts going badly?
We recommend leaving... your train is mobile for a reason.
Turn gathered resources into tools, ammunition, building components and equipment. Install crafting and processing stations aboard your train and organize your supplies for whatever comes next.
Each journey becomes more demanding the longer you remain away from safety. Resources, preparation, train configuration and the risks you're willing to take determine how far you can push before returning to safety... or losing the run.
