About

Turn the bottom of your screen into your own little skatepark.

Desktop Halfpipe is a cozy, lightweight desktop companion and arcade action-sports toy that lives at the bottom of your screen. Skate, BMX, scooter, inline skate, snowboard, or ski while you work, browse the web, play games, watch streams, listen to music, or just hang out.

Drop in for five minutes and chase a high score—or leave your rider cruising in the background while you get things done. Your desktop just got a little more fun.

Choose Your Ride

Choose from six different riders and riding styles:

  • Skateboard
  • Inline Skates
  • BMX
  • Scooter
  • Snowboard
  • Skis

Switch between them instantly from the system tray and make your little corner of the desktop your own.

Satisfying Arcade Gameplay

  • Desktop Halfpipe is easy to pick up and surprisingly fun to master.

    • Carve the pipe with A / D or ← →
    • Launch into the air and perform aerial tricks
    • Chain tricks together to build bigger combos
    • Land ground tricks including Ollies and Kickflips
    • Chase personal high scores
    • Unlock Steam Achievements for tricks, combos, and milestones

There are no complicated skill trees or massive progression systems. Just ride, trick, land, repeat.

Four Seasons, Two Environments

Your halfpipe changes with the seasons.

Enjoy four seasons, skate parks and snowy winter environments, plus atmospheric weather effects including:

  • Seasonal environments
  • Gentle rain
  • Falling snow
  • Drifting fireflies

It’s a tiny world designed to make your desktop feel a little less static.

Tailored to Your Desktop

Desktop Halfpipe isn't trying to take over your monitor. Customize your setup directly from the system tray:

  • Adjust halfpipe size
  • Change window opacity
  • Adjust riding speed
  • Enable Idle Mode for automatic riding
  • Quickly hide or show the game with Ctrl + Shift + 0
  • Keep the game silent by default
  • Save settings and high scores locally on your PC

It’s lightweight by design, so you can keep it running while you work, browse, game, stream, or watch YouTube without turning your desktop into another full-screen game.

Built for streams & desk vibes

Desktop Halfpipe can also become part of your stream.

Let your audience queue tricks through Twitch chat while your rider tears up the pipe, turning a tiny desktop companion into a fun little interactive element for your community.
