About
◆ Game Overview
Ghosts of the Tozai Line is a side-scrolling exploration adventure set inside a stalled train on the Tozai Line after an accident.
You walk the cars to investigate, talking with distinctive spirits who linger aboard. None of them can clearly remember who they were, or what they still hold onto. Take notes in your notebook, identify the passengers car by car, and return the belongings that matter to them—each step helps a spirit reclaim its own outline.
Beyond the present-day train, you can also glimpse past scenes through lingering thoughts. Who remains here, and why? Listen, observe, hand over the items you find, and pin down the right names. Each correct answer quietly changes the atmosphere of the train.
You may not be able to save every spirit. The number of belongings returned—and the choices you make—will change the ending. There is no flashy combat. Walking, talking, and thinking are how the story moves forward.
In a quiet, faintly humorous train car, as the last passenger, see them off on their final journey.

◆ Game System (Identify Their Names)
The spirits aboard cannot clearly recall their names or identities. Listen to their conversations, glimpse fragments of the past, and record the clues in your notebook.
Each time you identify the right name, a spirit slowly regains its shape. Observation and deduction are at the heart of uncovering who they are.

◆ Game System (Identify Their Belongings)
The objects left throughout the train are remnants of someone's feelings. Pick them up, examine them, consider who they belong to, and return them to the right person.
When a precious belonging finds its way back, the spirits draw closer to passing on. What you give, and to whom—those choices pile up and change how the story ends.
