BLINDFOLD: Sound Chase is an asymmetric online hide-and-seek game in which one blindfolded seeker faces a group of fugitives.

The seeker cannot rely on normal vision. Instead, they must follow footsteps, echoes, and other sounds to track down the fugitives.

The fugitives can see their surroundings, but every movement risks revealing their location. Decide whether to run, move quietly, or hold your breath and wait for the seeker to pass.

Track Them Through Sound

For the seeker, sound is more important than sight.

Listen carefully to footsteps and noises coming from the environment. Estimate their direction, follow the trail, and close in on the fugitives. Even the smallest mistake can provide the clue you need.

Every Movement Comes With a Risk

Fugitives can watch the seeker and move freely around the map. However, moving quickly makes more noise and increases the chance of being discovered.

• Take a risk and sprint away before the seeker gets too close.
• Move quietly and deceive the seeker's hearing.
• Use the environment to hide and break away from pursuit.
• Lure the seeker into searching in the wrong direction.

An Asymmetric Battle of Wits

The seeker and the fugitives experience the same match with completely different information.

The seeker must predict the location of opponents they cannot clearly see. The fugitives must predict what the seeker has heard and how they will react.

What begins as a simple game of hide-and-seek soon becomes a tense battle of sound, movement, timing, and deception.

The seeker must find the fugitives before time runs out. The fugitives must avoid being caught and survive until the end of the round.
