Dig graves, test corpses for evil, and pay your taxes in this 1-4 player co-op medieval graveyard horror sim. Give the dead the proper burial rites, or deal with what comes back. The church collects its due and what it does with your coin is none of your business.

The village sends you its dead. Your job is to make sure they stay that way.
The Dead Must Rest is a 1-4 player medieval cemetery-management horror game. Dig graves, judge the occasional corpse, and pay the church its due. Honest work, right up until your mistakes start climbing back out.
The Routine
A wagon arrives each day with bodies, burial papers, and plenty of clerical errors. It’s your job to match them up, prep them, and put them in the ground. Families might lie about their dead to save a coin.
Evil Within
Test suspicious corpses for signs of evil. Then decide what exactly you’re about to bury. Every evil demands the proper rites.
The Living Are Trouble Too
Mourners may leave a coin behind. Not every visitor comes to pay their respects, keep an eye on the grounds and a shovel nearby.
The Soil Remembers
Anything you buried wrong during the day may be waiting for you after dark.
The Church Is Watching
The church demands payment without exception.
What it does with your coin is not your concern. What lies behind the locked door is definitely not your concern.
