Description
A minimalist single player DOTA-like game. GODCORE is a runic war of lanes: march your warband down the road, command your Einherjar, wake your towers, and break the corrupted heart before yours shatters — one land of the saga at a time.
About
Two crystals. Only one survives.
GODCORE is a war of lanes set in a minimalist world of runes and crystals. At one end of the road stands your Godcore — a living crystal that fights, mends, and shields. At the other, a corrupted heart guarded by wards of stone. Between them march two warbands, and you decide how the war is fought.
Command the Einherjar.
You are Einherjar, the crystal warrior protecting the GODCORE at all cost. You are wielding the magic of the runes.
Learn the runes.
Three rune trees — the Godcore, the Einherjar, and the Towers — hold paths of strength and socketed ultimates: temporal immortality, the shackle, the wheel of blades, the mending wave, shockwaves and much more. Every price is paid in crystals earned by the kill — choose your runes like a saga is written.
Fight as a warband, not a hero.
Enemy stone cannot be broken by one man alone. Only while your creeps stand near a ward may the Einherjar's bolts bite it, and wards fall in order — the outer ring before the trunk, every road opens before the heart. Wave your flood doors to reroute your army. Break a road, and your warband surges.
Wake your towers.
Rune, fire, quake, frost and bomb towers stand prebuilt on every land, each with its own silhouette and rune. Rank their reach and fury with crystals, trigger their Overdrive, and shield them all beneath the Godcore's ward.
Face the named.
Grundr the First, Skaldr Spittongue, Hrimfang and the others each guard a land with their own venom. Conquer the saga map land by land, collect the crystals of the fallen.
Hold the crystal. Learn the runes. Break the horde.
