About

War Table Arena is a real-time collectible card battler.

A real-time card battler where the deck you built is only the deck you started with. Energy pours in continuously and both commanders deploy onto a three-lane tabletop, where units march, clash and lay siege to the enemy citadel while you are still deciding what to play next. There is no turn to wait for. There is only the field, and what you are willing to swear to it.

Founders' Oath: Early Access only

  • Quadruple Oath Sigils. Every sigil source pays 4x for the whole of Early Access. When the game leaves Early Access the rate settles to 2x for everyone. We are telling you the end of it up front instead of surprising you with it later.
  • The "I Was First" victory flourish. A victory animation granted only to accounts that fought during Early Access. At full release it is retired: never sold, never granted again, never returning. Yours permanently.
  • The lowest price this game will ever carry.

Every card you play is an oath

Deploying a card raises that card's stage for the rest of the battle: I, II, III, IV. Up to ninety percent more health and damage, and a frame that turns bronze, then silver, then gold. Commit your key card early and its later copies come back monsters. Hold it back and it stays exactly as small as you left it.

Between battles the same commitment becomes mastery: enough plays and a card starts at a higher stage. Mastery is earned by playing. It is never sold.

Your hand burns

You hold five cards and may commit two. The instant the second one lands, the whole hand — including the three you passed on — is discarded and five new cards fan out. The cards you did not swear do not grow.

Choosing what not to play is half the game.

Sworn Pairs

The two cards you commit from a single hand bond to each other:

  • Kindred Oath : two of the same faction. Both gain damage and a burning tether between them.
  • Sealed Oath : a unit and a spell. The spell costs less.
  • Blood Oath : the same card twice. The second copy enters a stage higher, and your own citadel pays the price.

Deck building stops being "what are my best thirty cards" and becomes "what does my deck want to draw together".

The Reforge

Once two thirds of your deck has been drawn, everything reshuffles : and every oath you swore comes back upgraded. The deck you are holding at minute three is not the deck you started with. Play for the second cycle.

What you will play

  • Ranked : real-time 1v1 on a seasonal ladder, from Squire to Oathlord.
  • Quick Battle : casual matchmaking with no rating at stake.
  • The Ladder : a single-player run against five named champions, each unlocked by beating the last.
  • Practice : three difficulties, fully offline.

The AI is handicapped by how fast it thinks, never by cheating stats. It gets the same energy and the same cards you do.

Two hundred cards, and none of them are for sale

Power is earned by playing. Cards, stages and mastery come from matches and quests; duplicates convert into Oath Sigils that craft any card you want directly, so no pull is ever dead. What you can buy is cosmetic — card backs, board themes, tower skins, victory flourishes. We will not sell you a win.

Verified, not trusted

The battle simulation is deterministic: the same decks, seed and commands always produce the same match. Every ranked result is replayed and verified on our servers before rating or rewards are granted. It also means that when a match feels wrong, we can load your exact match and watch it back: which is a support loop most card games cannot offer.

Try it first

The free demo runs the full real-time battle, the deck builder and the opening of the Ladder. Nothing is time-limited.
