Bow & Banner is a grim medieval narrative RPG about the life of an archer at war.

Begin as Kaden of Bracken, a village hunter carrying little more than a longbow into a campaign that will test his skill, judgment, loyalty and conscience. Fight to survive, earn your place among the soldiers around you, and shape the legacy Kaden leaves behind.

MASTER THE LONGBOW

Archery is at the centre of the campaign.

Test your marksmanship, hunt for food, scout enemy positions and take your place in large battlefield volleys. Judge your shots, manage limited arrows and use Kaden's growing battlefield experience to influence the archers fighting beside him.

Different situations demand more than accuracy. Observation, preparation and judgment can matter as much as hitting the target.

SURVIVE THE CAMPAIGN

War does not stop between battles.

Hunger, wounds, fatigue, fear, morale and limited resources follow Kaden through the campaign. Hunt and forage when supplies run low, treat injuries, move through dangerous territory and make difficult decisions when there is no perfect answer.

Failure does not always mean restarting.

Sometimes you have to live with what happened.

MAKE CHOICES WITH CONSEQUENCES

Your decisions affect more than the next conversation.

Reputation, morale, resources, officer favour and Kaden's conscience can change the direction of his campaign. Obedience may earn opportunity. Defiance may save lives. Cowardice, loyalty, ambition and mercy can all have consequences.

The choices that keep Kaden alive are not always the choices that make him a hero.

SHAPE KADEN'S LEGACY

The campaign follows branching routes with multiple outcomes and endings.

Kaden may rise through the ranks, return home changed by war, become disgraced, die far from Bracken—or leave behind a legacy few expected from a village archer.

There is no single correct path through the war.

Your skill determines what Kaden can accomplish. Your decisions determine who he becomes.
