Description
A sandbox Battle Royale where you compete with 100 other lifeforms over a planet. Fight, scavenge, and explore procedurally-generated, destructible planets.
About
FIRST EVER PLANETARY SHOOTER
In METEORITE, an entire planet is your playground.
You arrive in a meteor hurling towards it. There is no conventional shrinking circle and no invisible wall telling you where to go. If you see a mountain, you can climb it. The battle is shaped by the terrain, the players, and the planetary systems waiting to be activated. The planet is different each time, so you can never be sure what to expect.
Choose your gear carefully.
A LIVING ECOSYSTEM
Cross forests, deserts, frozen poles, mountains, canyons, bogs and abandoned ruins.
Search wreckage and ruins for weapons, equipment and rare artifacts. Hunt alien creatures. Track rival players across the landscape.... or avoid them until you are prepared to strike.
The planet is an unpredictable ecosystem that can turn against everyone on it.
WEAPONIZE THE CLIMATE
Four climate stations are scattered throughout the planet. Destabilize one and an entire region becomes inhospitable, forcing players to relocate. Activate all four, and the battleground moves to the final circle protected by a shield bubble.
UNFAIR BY DESIGN
Extract weapons, tools and exotic alien technology. Everything you extract becomes your load-out in the next match.
Utilize a diverse array of various weapons ranging from laser rifles, to alien rayguns... and repurposed mining equipment?
ESCAPE OR CONQUER
Leave while you still possess something worth extracting, or remain on the planet and risk everything for control of the world itself. Successful expeditions expand your arsenal. Conquered planets become trophies of your victories and resources for the battles ahead.
