About
Lighthearted and Funny—Until the Story Goes Deeper
The early story is full of light humor, sarcastic banter, and the absurd life of an adventurer.
As it progresses, the characters’ pasts, the world’s rules, and the true motives of each faction gradually come to light.
Looking back, many ordinary moments take on an entirely different meaning.
“They” Are Watching You
Fear makes people stronger—and gives them an overwhelming will.
But even the purest desires are being watched.
When your will peaks, “they” offer help… and a contract.
Your wish comes true. In return, you inherit a debt.
They warn you: don’t get greedy, or the debt will spiral out of control.
Meow Meow, the debt-ridden catgirl, signed hers out of fear of poverty.
Are the Rules Beyond Question—or Are They Chains?
“Will and Cost” is the law of this world.
No matter how justified your reason, stronger will means greater debt.
Yet Debt Crystals hold enough power to rewrite the rules—tempting enough for people to willingly put on the chains.
Another debt-ridden foxgirl, Awo Awo, chose to carry those chains when she had nowhere else to turn.
A Story That Unfolds One Step at a Time
There is no sudden call to save the world.
You gradually piece together its true nature through adventures and quests.
You don’t need to save the world. Leave that headache to the hero.
After all, the debt is way too big…
The World Remembers Your Choices
Your actions are being watched.
Steal from a villager, make a different choice, or do something that seems trivial—it may change how characters see you and affect later events.
The world doesn’t just wait for you to move forward. It remembers what you’ve done.
Even small events can become important later.
