Description
Dreamfend is a pixel-art roguelite survivor where you play as an old teddy bear guarding a sleeping child from nightmares. Fight off swarms of monsters, collect and upgrade weapons, find power-ups, hunt down every boss and survive the night. Just don't lose yourself — and don't lose the child.

Dreamfend is a pixel-art roguelite survivor about a child's favorite toy guarding their sleep. The child won't wake until morning. Whatever comes for them tonight, you're the one who meets it.

One against the swarm
Monsters close in from every side, and every minute brings more. You start fighting them off with a single weapon — by the end of the night, a whole arsenal orbits you.
Choose your weapons
Level up your toy and build a loadout of 6 weapons — there are 25 in all, and every one plays differently. Add 3 passive abilities out of 15, stack them, push them further, and outgrow any nightmare.
Grow stronger, but don't lose yourself
Rage gathers in the dark. The more of it you carry, the faster you tear through the swarm — and the closer you come to no longer being yourself. Find the child among the horde to cool down, or push all the way and take the risk.

The child's memories surface in the dark. Learn how it all started, how it ended, and who you are in this story.
The night doesn't last forever
To reach the nightmare itself, you'll have to weaken it — kill the reflections it hides its power in. Each one fights its own way, and none of them forgive mistakes. Take too long and the nightmare grows past you, and that meeting is one you won't survive. Find them all.
Find forgotten toys
Roaming the map and killing monsters turns up other toys. Track them down and try the unique attacks each forgotten one brings.
A toy never forgets
Hunt for treasure and upgrade the weapons you fell in love with between runs. Unlock new ones and come back the next night stronger than before.
