About

  • You play as a freshly created chimera venturing through a dungeon, trying to survive and graft parts from monsters onto yourself to grow stronger.
  • In fights, you need to decide if you try to sever enemies' body parts to graft them onto yourself or simply go for a fast kill by targeting an enemy's lethal spot. Severing leads to longer and harder encounters but increases your own strength, so there is always a risk-reward decision to take.
  • Body parts do come with abilities and stats attached to them and will determine what actions can be taken every turn. They all have their own health and thus can and will be lost again in combat regularly.
  • Outside of combat, you will explore a dungeon where monsters roam, and points of interest lie. You have to find the cave to the next floor and fight a boss to proceed. Is it better to explore more and risk running into an elite enemy, or should you simply press forward while you still can?
