About
On the day they graduate high school, an anonymous message draws five friends back to their empty middle school. They slip through the gap in the wall and descend to the basement club room that was once theirs.
The doors won't open. No one else is in the building. As the night wears on, they begin telling the story of their shared past—and no two versions fit.
The Fifth Name is a claustrophobic psychological mystery visual novel about memory, silence, and the stories people tell to live with themselves. There are no puzzles to solve and no items to combine. In some scenes you explore the
room, clicking what catches your eye to move on. The mystery unfolds through conversation: what people say, what they refuse to say, and what each version quietly costs someone else.
- A five-person chamber drama staged on a single screen. Watch who speaks, who listens, and who falls silent.
- A dialogue-driven mystery with no inventory and no puzzle gates. Some scenes let you explore the room before the story moves on.
- Three endings determined by one final choice, made with the truth in hand.
- A complete first playthrough in roughly one to two hours.
- Designed to be read twice. On a second read, the same opening tells a different story.
The Fifth Name is a short, complete, and densely written story. A first playthrough takes roughly one to two hours, with about 20-40 minutes more to see the remaining endings.
