Description
Fight your way down a road overrun by the infected, alone or in online co-op for up to 3 players. Scavenge weapons, combine gear, and shape devastating builds against ever-fiercer waves. Reach the next stop—or fall on the road, regroup with what you earned, and try again.
About
The Horde Is Coming. Survive First.
At first, you will face only a few scattered infected.
But it will not stay that way for long. Soon they will pour in from the streets, the ruins, and the dark—more with every wave, and harder to put down.
Keep moving. Keep your weapons firing. As long as you are still standing, the run is not over.
One Can Fight. Three Can Raise Hell.
Face the horde alone, or bring two friends for up to 3-player online co-op.
Clear out the infected, take down elites and bosses, and build around different weapons and upgrades while watching one another's backs in the chaos.
Alone, it is survival. With three, it is team-building at the end of the world.
Every Run, a New Way Through
No two runs are ever the same.
At the end of every wave, the supply helicopter arrives on the battlefield.
Spend that wave's haul on weapons and items, reshape your build, and get ready for an even fiercer horde.
Sometimes the counter has exactly what you need. Sometimes the one thing you want is nowhere to be found.
Thinking on your feet is part of staying alive.
Guns Are Just the Beginning
Guns work. But they are not your only option.
Choose from firearms, melee weapons, explosives, and tactical items, each supporting a completely different way to fight.
Cut down the horde head-on, carve a path up close, blow apart tightly packed enemies, or use tactical items to buy yourself room to breathe.
If it keeps you alive, it works.
Bring Home More Than Bigger Numbers
When a run ends, experience is not all you take with you.
Collect and identify gear, then prepare for your next trip into the horde.
Gear progression is about more than raising your damage and stats. Some special pieces unlock entirely new mechanics and combat effects.
Getting stronger does not just make the numbers bigger. It gives you more ways to fight.
1999. The Road Goes On.
The infection is spreading. Cities are falling. The world you knew is disappearing piece by piece.
There is only so much you can do: find gear that still works, bring people you trust, and keep moving forward.
The next run might go better. Or you might die even faster.
Either way, load up and go again.
