Description
Pieces fall from the top and rise from the bottom - and you play both fields at once. Can you do it? Longer than your friends? Challenge them: same seed, live duel or leaderboard - every run is proven by replay. One mind. Two fields. Many blocks.
About
Two fields. One line. Your balance.
DuoFall is not your usual falling-block puzzle: you play two fields at the same time - pieces fall downward on top, and rise upward from below. They meet in the middle at the wandering golden middle line, the heart of the game.
Can you handle it? Play one-sided and the line drifts against you - taking away space exactly where you need it most. Your own imbalance is your opponent.
And once you master it: can your friends? Settle who's really better with a shared seed, in a live duel, or on the leaderboard - every run is proven by its replay.
Master the balance
- The middle line is alive: it tints toward the overloaded side, warns you before the next shift, and visibly builds up pressure.
- Harmony: clear on one side and answer on the other within four pieces - bonus points, a growing combo, and the line snaps gently back to center.
- Pressure Gold: place a piece cleanly while under pressure and it turns to gold - double points when cleared.
- Piece Swap: flip the top and bottom piece in one stroke. Earn charges with clears and harmonies.
The Endless Arena: a daily race
- A room that never closes: hop in and out anytime - your lines add up on your daily account, every run counts.
- Live tempo bars show who's fastest RIGHT NOW - the order reshuffles live as players overtake each other, with your rank updating in real time.
- Ghost fields of your closest rivals play right next to you - catch them.
- Daily champions per category earn bonus lines toward the shared community goal.
Play online - with proof
- Live matches: your side looks exactly like solo play, while your opponent's field runs alongside - with a live comparison line. When your run ends, you keep watching theirs.
- Duels, group rooms and tournaments - including 2v2 teams, with attacks and counters.
- Party modes for rooms: In Hot Potato, all attacks hit whoever holds the potato - clear rows to pass it on. In Hot Charge, attacks carry a fuse - pass them on before they blow.
- Friends & whispers: requests, player search, persistent 1:1 chats.
- Daily Challenge with one worldwide seed, plus a community line counter.
- Leaderboards you can trust: every entry carries its replay and is re-simulated and verified on the server.
Couch multiplayer with a twist
- Split-screen for 2–4 players - each with a full HUD
- Versus pressure through the core mechanic: your double and triple clears shift your opponent's middle line - no garbage rows (can be toggled)
- Co-op on a shared field: one plays top, one plays bottom - one shared fate
- Hot-seat and local tournaments up to 2v2 - plus AI opponents in four difficulty levels for practice
Your road to mastery
- The Duo Tower: over 40 master challenges, floor by floor - milestone floors grant honorary titles everyone can see
- Duo Score & Leagues: ONE number for your skill (speed, efficiency, balance, harmony) - climb through the leagues
- Player DNA: statistics that reveal your style - hand speed, side-switch rate, harmony usage, stable up to beat X
Play under a real sky
The background is no wallpaper: stars, the Milky Way, the moon and the weather follow real location and time - pick your favorite place from Reykjavík to Sydney and play your evening session under the sky that's actually above it right now.
A fair start
- Gentle Start: at first only one side falls (the AI holds the other), then you switch, then you play both - and the game notices when you're struggling and offers help
- Marathon, Sprint, Zen, Daily Challenge, and challenges with shareable seeds
- Gamepad support in-game, fully rebindable keys (incl. 180° rotation), colorblind-friendly style, English and German
DuoFall is built in close collaboration with its testers - the feedback button lives right inside the game, and the community votes on the next feature.
