About
The mountain is a graph. Learn to read it.
Every ramp in E-Rally is a straight line seen from the side. Your car starts at a given height: that's the intercept. The hill rises at a given angle: that's the slope. Together they define the road ahead: y = mx + b.
Study the incline. Work out the slope. Choose the engine that delivers the most speed on that exact gradient. Get it right and you crest the hill. Get it wrong and you stall halfway up.
No quizzes. No pop-ups. Just driving.
E-Rally never stops the game to ask you to solve for m. The math is the machinery. You learn slope and intercept the way you learn any mechanic in a good game: because you need it to win.
Free Map: experiment without pressure
Not every hill has to be a test. Free Map is an open world where you can drive, try out engines, and feel how slope changes everything: no timer, no score, no wrong answers. Play first, understand later.
Features
- Read real slopes from a side-on view of the track
- Match each engine to the right slope: the wrong power curve costs you the climb
- Starting height changes everything: master the y-intercept
- Free Map mode for pressure-free exploration
- Spoken explanations in Latin American Spanish guide you through every concept
- Designed for ages 14 and 15, playable by anyone
For teachers
E-Rally teaches the slope and y-intercept of linear functions, a core topic in Grade 9 algebra. Classroom licenses and bulk keys are available. See the Support Contact Info section of this page to get in touch.
