About
A fishing rod, a sea breeze, and somewhere new to go
Songs of the Shoals is a single-player fishing adventure about the pleasure of heading out and finding your own pace. Cast from the shore, stop your boat over promising water, and bring your catch back to the harbor. Sell your fish, improve your gear, and let the next voyage take you a little farther.

Find the rhythm of the catch
Watch for a bite, time your response, and follow the fish's rhythm to land your catch. Learn how fishing spots, depth, weather, and time of day change what you can find. Fill your fishing handbook, complete harbor commissions, or spend an afternoon returning to a favorite spot.
- Fish from the shore or from a stopped boat.
- Sell your catch and upgrade your rod and vessel.
- Choose your next fishing ground and set your own pace.
An island journey, by sea and sky
The latest development log takes a scenic route through the expanding world: sail past lighthouse islets and a harbor hidden inside a cavern, then fly the red Kestrel seaplane over cliffs and forested shores. The video features a home-island panorama and twelve island destinations, with a different view around each headland.
Calm water, changing skies, unexpected encounters
Drifting clouds and their shadows cross the water as sunshine gives way to overcast skies, rain, and sea mist. Original music accompanies the journey, from a quiet sail at dusk to glowing jellyfish and immense bones beneath the shallows. Farther out, a vast sea creature stirs: tentacles strike the water as dark clouds and lightning gather.
Development footage and the current Playtest
The island-journey video and accompanying new images show work in development. The expanded islands, Kestrel flight, and sea-creature encounters shown here are not included in the current public Playtest. That test uses the Initial Island build and focuses on fishing, nearby boat trips, selling your catch, and upgrades. Content and visuals may change during development.
The game is being developed for Windows, with English and Simplified Chinese interfaces.
