About

Dungeon Portal is a lightweight, powerful virtual tabletop built specifically for Dungeon Masters running D&D 5e campaigns.

The DM installs the desktop app and runs their session — players join from any browser with just a link. No accounts, no installs, no hassle.

FEATURES

Map & Scene Management

Build up to 5 scenes per session and switch between them instantly. Your players see the new map the moment you deploy it. Prep your encounters in advance while your current scene stays live.

Fog of War

Draw walls to block line of sight. Exploration mode permanently reveals areas as players move through them, building a map of where they've been.

Tokens & Library

Build a local library of maps and tokens. Drag tokens directly onto the map. Each token supports custom art, conditions, and stat sheets.

Combat Tools

Roll initiative and track combat with a drag-to-reorder initiative bar. Add tokens mid-combat, link them to stat blocks, and manage conditions with colored rings visible on the map.

Dice Roller

Physics-based dice roller with named presets. Save your most-used rolls — Smite, Sneak Attack, Fireball — and roll them with one click.

Player Tools

Players get a collapsible toolbar, a draggable session notepad, spell effect placement, and their own dice roller with custom presets.

Conditions

Apply D&D 5e conditions to tokens. Each condition shows as a colored glow ring on the map so everyone can see who's poisoned, stunned, or unconscious at a glance. Invisible tokens vanish from player view entirely — only the DM sees a ghost outline.

PLAYERS NEED NOTHING
