About
Chess, but with wizards
A Wizard-Chess Tournament starts as the chess you know — same board, same pieces, same opening moves. Then the spells start flying.
Pieces fight, they don't just capture
Every piece has Hit Points and Attack. Landing on an enemy starts a fight, strike hard enough and you take the square — fall short and you chip their health and bounce back. A wounded queen is still a queen. Plan around it.
Cut the King down in combat, poison him from afar, or burn him down with a well-timed spell and claim his throne.
Cast before you move
Each turn has two phases: play spell cards, then move. Nearly 50 spells buff your pieces, curse your opponent's, and enchant the squares between you.
Both hands are visible: you always see what your opponent is holding so that you can plan your next move.
Pick your wizard
Your wizard decides which unique spells reach your hand. Each wizard has 3 spells that only they can use.
