About
A castle in the Edo period. One night alone for a feudal lord.
No retainers. No servants.
And then, you come face to face once more with those whose deaths you once ordered.
The most powerful lord in the land—yet powerless in your own castle.
And in the end, only one option remains—
"Dogeza."
Dogeza — the deepest bow of apology in Japan.
[About the Game]
DOGEZA is a first-person Japanese horror exploration adventure. Trapped in your cursed castle for one night, you must find the way out — by atoning for what you have done.
[Features]
🏯 Explore a Japanese castle at midnight: roam the keep, the turrets, and the grounds in search of a way past its sealed doors.
📜 Read what the dead left behind: gather what remains in the castle and ask yourself who deserves your apology.
🙇 The rite of repentance: there is a proper way to apologize to the dead.
🚪 Cursed doors: a door sealed under a red-glowing padlock will not open easily. Watch for the smallest of changes.
⚔️ Wandering vengeful spirits: slip past their gaze. A wrong apology comes at a price.
🌙 Three endings: is there one where you survive?
🕰️ Playtime: 30–60 minutes per run / roughly 1.5–2 hours to reach every ending
