About
Boomsday is a chaotic isometric horde survival shooter. Blast the horde into pieces, grab the weapons they drop, and stack insane perks until you're an unstoppable force of destruction. The game looks like a morning toy commercial. It plays like a blood-soaked arcade nightmare. Expect plenty of gore and dismemberment.
PLAY IT YOUR WAY:
Go hardcore with friendly fire and no revives. Turn bosses off. Pick your starting weapon. Share loot with your squad or keep it every-player-for-themselves. Slide enemy count, drop rates, and player health anywhere from 25% to 400%. A significant amount of effort has been invested in allowing you to play Boomsday the way YOU want to play it.
Co-op Mayhem:
Play solo or team up with up to 8 players. Enjoy local couch co-op, LAN games, or online play via Steam invites. Full cross-play support means Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iPhone players can all join the same match.
The Enemies:
There are 54 unique enemy types that will keep you on your toes. Spitters attack from range, chargers barrel straight at you, giant enemies explode into swarms of smaller ones there is always something coming from a direction you weren't watching.
Every 10 waves, a boss appears. There are 12 unique bosses, each with their own deadly mechanics. One literally eats your bullets and grows bigger the more you shoot it. No matter how broken your build is, these bosses will remind you that you're not as invincible as you thought.
Weapons & Perks:
You start with a basic pistol. Everything else is earned on the battlefield. Carry up to three weapons at once and swap instantly from classic shotguns and SMGs to devastating railguns, flamethrowers, cryo-cannons absurd made up weapons and more.
Perks are chosen mid-fight while the horde keeps coming. With 61 different perks, you can go for reliable upgrades like increased damage and faster reloads, or completely break the game with orbiting blades, attack drones, lifesteal, explosive rounds, and more. Stacking them is where the real fun begins.
