Description
A cooking game with cozy themed days and horror themed nights. You and your daughter are now owners of an abandoned motel and diner. Start cooking, renting rooms, and do other work to pay off the loan. But beware of the choices you make as they might come back to haunt you. (Solo developer project)
About
The year is 2002 in Tasmania, Australia. You play as a single dad who is struggling financially and tired of working low paying jobs. You take a loan to buy an old diner and motel business. Now you must start cooking and renting out rooms to make that money back.
Will that be enough? Maybe provide laundry and food delivery services? Or raise your own chickens and grow your own produce in the garden to save money. Or perhaps, sell the weird stuff you find in the building during renovation? Locals of the area have some superstitions about the building you bought, are they true?

Become a chef:
Prepare ingredients and cook for your daughter and customers on a daily basis.

Maintain the building in cleanliness:
Every time you cook, you make a mess. Every time customers come in, they leave a mess.
Clean up every day to maintain good hygiene.

Restore the motel rooms:
All the motel rooms need renovation. Spend money to hire a team to restore the motel rooms to a rentable condition before you can start renting them to tenants.

Provide a laundry service:
Your tenants are here for work, camping, traveling, or any other reason, but one thing they all have is dirty clothes. Provide a laundry service to make some extra money and give a good service so they stay longer.

Raise your chickens:
The place came with a small chicken coop. Make good use of it and get chickens for daily fresh eggs.
Remember to feed the chickens.
Grow your vegetables:
Buy pots and plant crops into them, water them, and get your fresh produce every day and cheaper than the local shops.
Maintain your sanity:
Being a single dad and sole employee of a business of this scale can be very exhausting. Especially if you don’t get proper sleep at night. Replenish your energy and your sanity by listening to music, drinking coffee or beverages, or smoking (while trying to quit smoking).

Keep grinding:
- Earn money with every opportunity you get from talking to customers, and upgrade the diner and motel rooms.
- Franchise your food with local shops.
- Hire a delivery driver to deliver your orders.
- Buy a car and upgrade it as you get parts and money.
The horror twist:
- Maintain your sanity or you will start seeing things. Hauntings and other events are more common when your sanity is low. And if you die, you lose the shift’s progress.
- If you make enemies with the locals, remember to lock all doors at night.
- There are things in the attic and the basement that cannot be explained. Try to keep your curious daughter from going in there.
In short:
There will be some difficult times and tough choices. Are you ready to take up the challenge to restore the building and do a grand opening? Or will you chicken out and run away if things get tough.
