Description
You know how the pieces move. You don't know how they die. A chess roguelike where every piece bleeds. Level them, perk them or lose them forever. Take the enemy King's head, or bleed their army dry. One path saves you. One damns you. Hell keeps score.

The damned are the pieces. You are the one who moves them. Captures aren't removals. They're kills. Only one of you will escape hell.
YOU TOO, BRUTUS?
Ascend prison to meet other prisoners. Lucifer, Caesar, Judas, Cleopatra.... there's many inhabiting the floors. Be careful though, these prisoners don't play by the rules. Well... neither do you. Thunder? Bribery? perhaps firing canons from their ship? be prepared for each floor of.... prison.
TWO WAYS TO WIN. THEY DECIDE WHAT YOU BECOME.
Kill the enemy King and the battle ends clean. Or... ignore him entirely and bleed the army out, one body at a time, until they rout. Hell is watching which one you pick and your Salvation changes the game.

THE GAUNTLET
A weekly ladder fought against other prisoners who tried to escape. Nobody waits on anybody. Win runs, climb the board - be the one that escapes.
