Wunkfall is an exploration-based bullet heaven where you bring a dead underworld roaring back to life! Revive the ground you walk on, harvest what it sprouts, and recruit the enemies that fall on it. Stray farther from spawn for a fatter haul to bring home!

Welcome to the bottom, baker.
Wunkfall is a top-down survivors-like about bringing a dead world back to life and bringing the harvest back home. Your bakery was weeks from closing when a mysterious hole appeared. You, a wunk, fall through that hole and appear in a mysterious new underworld, where (it seems like) you're the only living thing in it, and there are ingredients down here nobody has ever tasted.
THE GROUND IS YOUR WEAPON
Life spreads from you automatically. Every step blooms the dead ground underfoot into living green, and the green does the work. It burns the swarm. It sprouts crops and materials you grab on the run. And enemies that fall on it gets back up on your side.
STRAY FARTHER, EARN MORE
There is no safe grind. Difficulty is measured in distance from the hole you fell through. Stay close and you will survive all ten minutes with almost nothing to show for it. Push past the edge of what you know and the swarms get nastier, the ground gets richer, and the ingredients get rarer.
Every run is a countdown and a decision. How far out do you dare go, and can you still make it worth the walk?
EVERYTHING YOU CARRY OUT GOES IN THE OVEN
You climb back up with crops, materials, and the occasional animal that decided to follow you home. Then the bakery opens. Your haul becomes stock, stock becomes sales, sales become permanent upgrades, and the animals you rescued stay on as livestock.
Run out of health before the timer and the run ends, but you keep everything you gathered. The only thing you lose is the time.
Fall. Bloom. Bake. Again.
