About

A FORGOTTEN THEATRE LIES BENEATH A DROWNED WORLD

House of Tides is a first-person psychological sci-fi horror game set inside a shifting labyrinth of memories, imagined lives, fractured identities, and impossible stages.

Follow an anomalous signal into a forgotten theatre that has remained active for centuries beneath the ocean. Its systems open into memories, theatrical works, damaged archives, imagined lives, and spaces that should not exist.

As you descend, rooms return altered, scenes are restaged, and familiar environments acquire new meanings. The theatre begins to draw on your past, reshaping the path around grief, guilt, obsession, and the need for absolution.

At its centre is a story about isolation and the fragile ways people try to reach one another, even across memory, performance, and fiction.

A FIRST-PERSON PSYCHOLOGICAL SCI-FI HORROR EXPERIENCE

House of Tides is built around exploration, perception, sound, diegetic interaction, environmental investigation, and narrative discovery.

Explore interconnected spaces and staged realities. Examine personal objects, documents, scripts, and recordings. Operate obsolete theatre systems and use your technological bracelet to connect with the building and move between different spaces.

Progress through observation, visual alignment, environmental transformation, and the careful interpretation of what surrounds you. Some areas behave like labyrinths; others unfold as environmental puzzles in which rooms, props, memories, and staged scenes must be transformed to open a path forward.

House of Tides has no traditional combat focus. Horror develops through disorientation, psychological pressure, sensory dissonance, unstable environments, and the gradual collapse between fiction and reality.

A LABYRINTH OF MEMORIES AND IMAGINED LIVES

The theatre reaches beyond its physical rooms. Plays, memories, imagined lives, damaged archives, and fractured identities become spaces you can enter.

A museum, a home, an unfamiliar landscape, or an impossible stage may appear to be a separate reality while remaining part of the same theatrical system.

Places return changed. Performances absorb details from other lives. Identities shift between person, character, memory, and invention.

SOUND AS PART OF THE NARRATIVE

Sound is central to the experience. Follow distant voices, echoes, recordings, music, breathing, silence, distortions, and signals through spaces that no longer behave as they should.

Audio guides attention, creates tension, reveals meaning, and provides clues for progression. Some moments must be understood through listening before they can be understood through image.
