About
Love comes with a price. Are you ready?
No choice is inherently right or wrong, yet every choice demands a cost.
Some will break you out of prison, while others will burn everything down for you.
This is not a tale of saving the world. It is a labyrinth of fate woven by tarot cards.
About This Game
Twilight Tides: Mirage Journey is a philosophical choice-driven game set within a fantasy realm, blending tarot divination imagery with multi-timeline storytelling.
Story Premise
You awaken with no memories of your past life. An ancient tome called The Codex of Orderly Aeons has chosen you. Twenty-two tarot cards lead toward branching parallel destinies and six souls intertwined with your own.
Your fate unfolds across two overlapping timelines:
Primary Realm | Sci-Fi Apocalypse: A future Earth shrouded by black holes and fractured continents. On the surface, the Deep Blue Union, Vault of Heaven Federation, and Styx Empire each maintain polished utopias — yet beneath prosperity fester the rotting scars of the end times.
Secondary Timeline | Turmoil of WWII Southeast Asia: A brutal battlefield home to tens of thousands of lost souls. The gears of fate are forcefully turned, forcing you to face the ultimate trials of survival and love.
Six Souls Bound to Your Fate
Poseidon Phantomblue | Deep Blue Union
Apollo Whitemist | Vault of Heaven Federation
Hades Nightdust | Styx Empire
Three mysterious figures from the parallel secondary timeline
Every decision you make turns the Wheel of Fortune and reshapes the bonds between you and them.
Game Features
🃏 22 Tarot Cards | Fragments of Fate
The entire narrative revolves around tarot cards. Each card embodies a personality, obsession, and potential life path. The cards you draw at pivotal moments permanently unlock or seal off future story branches.
⚖️ No Right or Wrong, Only Consequences
Rejecting the simplistic binary of “Option A or B”. Within every dilemma, there is no “correct answer” — only the price you are willing to pay.
♟️ Interwoven Dual Timelines | Dual Trials of Love and Survival
Uncover the secrets behind the temporal system in the primary realm, and confront brutal life-or-death choices upon the battlefield of the secondary timeline. Fantastical and grounded narratives from both worlds intertwine; every action you take ripples across to the other side.
This is not a story about saving the world.
It is a story about the theft of time, cycles of fate, and what it means to choose love amid despair.
When you unlock The Chariot — will you confess bravely, or let fate run its course?
When you stand upon a battlefield haunted by tens of thousands of ghosts — will you turn and flee, or become someone’s light?
This is no ordinary romance game.
It is a long conversation with yourself inside the tarot labyrinth.
Development Note
We poured our resources into narrative depth and the branching logic of choice trees.
If you value a story that leaves you silent for five minutes over character sprites perfect enough to screenshot as wallpapers — this game may be for you.
May we all hold The Fool and set forth courageously.
To You Watching the Screen
If you have ever strived relentlessly with nothing to show for your efforts…
If you stand at life’s crossroads with no idea which way to turn…
If you have grown tired of survival horror and saccharine romance tales…
If you have ever asked yourself late at night: “What do I truly want?”
Welcome to Twilight Tides: Mirage Journey.
We offer no ready answers here, only a mirror for you to see your true self.
Final Words
Lost hours, unfulfilled regrets, memories devoured by time thieves…
Twenty-two tarot cards weave together the full story, building a world that asks whether fate can ever be rewritten.
Every choice you make here is merely one iteration amid fate’s endless repetitions.
Yet you alone hold the cards.
