Nightmare Company

Story
You work for a company that opened a door into the darkest corners of the human mind: the subconscious. Clients can't stop having the same nightmare — the same trauma, playing on a loop every time they close their eyes. The company puts them under and sends someone in to go find what's causing it. That someone is you.

Game Loop
The moment you step through the portal, you're inside the client's mind. Your job is simple: collect the nightmare artifacts feeding the loop and get back to the exit before things go wrong. Sell what you bring back at the pit, spend the money on gear, and take the next job. Miss the quota too many times and the Company stops being patient with you.

Play with Friends

You don't have to go into the dark alone. Bring up to three others. Keep one person on the terminal watching the map and the portal, while the rest dive deeper into the mind. Decide among yourselves who's grabbing artifacts and who's watching the exit. The shop's gear is basic, but it can keep you alive a little longer — if you spend your money wisely.

Clock is Ticking

Here's the part that matters: the client can wake up at any second and if you're still inside when they do, you're not coming back. So take what you can carry, watch the clock, and don't be the one who gets left behind.
