Your phone is the controller

The grid, scores, and timer live on the big screen. Everyone else plays on the phone already in their pocket: no extra controllers, no app store, no remote mouse, just a PC and some good old web browsers. Just type words from adjacent letters and hit send.

Strategy?

Do you prefer finding lots of small words? One massive word for a huge cashout? Sitting on your hands until the last ten seconds to drop a bomb? Snatching a plural from your friend's singular the moment they submit it?

Six game modes, and counting

Some reward speed. Some reward patience. Some reward hunting the letters everyone else is ignoring.

• Classic - Find words with letters. That's it. That's the mode.
• Replace Letters - Used letters get swapped out, so the grid never stops moving.
• Shared Words - Words can be reused by different players. Great for playing with kids.
• Rising Letters - Unused letters grow in value over time. Ignore that Q at your peril.
• Battle of Territory - Claim letters by using them and score every second for the ground you hold.
• Hot Tile - One glowing tile multiplies your score. Work it into a word before it moves.

Any language. Any dictionary. Even yours.

Play with Italian, French, German and English friends at the same time, with all of their words accepted. (Careful, German alone has enough words to compete with the other three combined...)

Then make it weird:

• Make your mother's name worth a gazillion points.
• Load a medieval political figures dictionary and get a grid of letters tuned to said list.
• Build your own dictionary, tweak the scores and share it online.

120 FPS, tested with 300 players submitting two words per second. That was an automated test, obviously. Congratulations if you can round up a crowd that reaches it! (And please, send me a video; I would love to see it happen!)
