About

Draw the same card twice? Yeah, that's a bust.

You're five cards deep, no repeats, and the damage is looking pretty juicy. You could stop right here. Or you could grab just one more...

...and it's a 7. You already have a 7. Whole hand gone, zero damage, and the boss is laughing at you.

Another One is a roguelike deckbuilder built around exactly that moment. Every card you draw makes your hit bigger, and every card you draw makes the next one scarier. Knowing when to stop is the whole game. (Spoiler: you won't stop.)

How it works

  • Draw cards one by one. Their numbers add up to your damage.
  • Draw a card that's already in your hand and you bust. Nothing happens, turn over.
  • Stop whenever you want and cash in what you've got.
  • Flip 7 cards without a repeat and the right boosters turn that into something ridiculous.

Pick a hero. Or build your own.

Every hero has their own deck, and every deck plays like a different game:

  • Rookie gets cards 1 to 12. The classic. Good place to start, good place to get humbled.
  • Viking only runs double digits. Massive hits, basically no room for mistakes.
  • Poker packs four of every number. Busting stops being a risk and turns into a lifestyle.
  • Highlander has exactly one of each card, so it's super safe. Except for the bomb. There's a bomb in there.
  • Baby only goes from 1 to 5. Don't let the tiny numbers fool you.

...plus more heroes with even weirder decks.

Build Your Own is the newest mode, and honestly my favourite. You start with an empty deck and a pocket full of coins. Pick your first booster, then go shopping for exactly the cards you want. Tiny lean deck? Big chunky one? Five copies of your favourite card? Your call. This is where the dumbest (best) combos come from.

After every fight, you pick

  • A new booster that changes how your hand scores
  • An upgrade for a booster you already love
  • A trip to the Forge to make your cards hit harder
  • More max HP for when things get sketchy
  • Or the scaling stuff that feels like a total mistake... right up until it wins you the run

Stack the right boosters and the numbers get silly real fast. That's kind of the point.

The bosses cheat. A lot.

  • Baron Bubblegum sticks your highest card to his hands. It deals nothing now.
  • Quantum Cat hides your hand. Sometimes. He thinks this is hilarious.
  • DJ Dead Drop slips a fresh bust card into your deck every single turn.
  • Glitch King heals every time you bust, so he's basically your biggest fan.
  • Internet Troll hides your first draws. Have fun playing blind.
  • Couch Potato has double HP and zero plans to get up.

And plenty more where those came from.

Daily Challenge

One seed a day. Everyone gets the exact same run: same cards, same bosses, same rewards. Retry as often as you like, learn the run inside out, then check where you landed on the global leaderboard. New one tomorrow.

Infinity Mode

The difficulty keeps climbing until you can't. How far can you push it?

Made by one person

Another One is made by just me, a solo dev who has spent way too many evenings yelling at a 7. If you like it, a wishlist helps a ton. Thanks for stopping by!
