About
BoQiong: Warlords Vie for the Realm is a 2–4 player online turn-based strategy game set in the Three Kingdoms. Expand your domain, recruit officers, trade with rival warlords, and roll the ancient BoQiong dice to decide battles and unexpected events.
Forge alliances when it suits you—but always be wary of betrayal from your allies. Negotiate, deceive, bribe, and outmaneuver your rivals—then seize the provinces you need to claim victory.

Multiplayer Battle and Diplomacy
In an age of rival warlords, today's ally may be tomorrow's greatest threat.
Join forces with other players to keep the strongest force in check. Trade cities, officers, and items to complete powerful combinations. Negotiate a truce when you need time to rebuild—or wait until an ally lets their guard down and launch a sudden surprise attack.
Every deal is temporary. Every promise has a price.
There can only be one victor. Use diplomacy, deception, and force to defeat your rivals and unite the realm.
Capture cities. Recruit officers. Collect items
Cities are taken through siege battles, while officers and items are found through Search each turn from a random selection.
Everything you own in this game can all become bargaining chips when dealing with other players.

Certain resources form special Synergies when collected together, granting powerful effects. Build combinations that fit your strategy—or trade with your rivals for the final piece you need.

Roll the BoQiong
At the heart of the game is the BoQiong (博琼, historically 博茕), an eighteen-sided dice used in the Qin and Han periods.
A standard BoQiong features the numbers 1–16 and two special faces: 【Jiao(骄)】 and 【Kui(愧)】.
Every officer has their own unique BoQiong, with different numbers and special faces. In battle, rolling 【Jiao】 raises that officer's level, while 【Kui】 lowers it. A single roll can turn a winning battle into a disaster—or give an underdog the chance to fight back.
Skills and items can also add Marks to individual faces of a BoQiong. Different Marks trigger different effects, allowing you to build new combinations between officers, items, and dice.

Battles with BoQiong Dice
On your turn, launch a siege, choose your officers, arrange your formation, and roll their BoQiong to resolve attacks and skills.
But troop strength alone does not decide the winner.
Every round can bring an unexpected event—and even players who are not fighting can interfere with the battle.

Neutral players may be asked to choose what happens next.
Don't like their choice?
Bribe them.
Offer gold and persuade them to pick the event that helps you instead. A battle between two players can quickly become a contest involving everyone at the table.

Different Modes to Vie for the Realm
This game will feature several modes, each demanding a different approach.
Full Map Mode focuses on long-term expansion and competition between forces.
Province Contest Mode turns a specific province or group of commanderies into the center of the struggle.
Scenario Mode recreates historical conflicts, placing players in control of rival forces as they compete for supremacy across the Central Plains.
Different objectives mean different priorities. Sometimes expansion matters most. Sometimes diplomacy does. And sometimes stopping the player who is one turn away from winning is the only thing that matters.

No match unfolds exactly the same way.
Roads may change from year to year. Items can be lost. Officers may leave your force. Cities may even rebel. During battle, other players can use neutral characters and random events to interfere with your plans.
A sudden disaster can destroy your advantage—but the same chaos may give a weaker force the perfect opportunity to turn the tables.
DEMO — Contest for Ji Province
The current DEMO features Contest for Ji Province, supporting online multiplayer for up to 4 players.
Each player begins in a random city around Ji Province. Search for the officers and items you need, negotiate trades with your rivals, and join forces with weaker players when one warlord grows too powerful.
But remember: cooperation is only temporary.
The first player to unify Ji Province wins.
Jump into the DEMO and join the struggle for Ji Province!
A Note from the Developer
BoQiong: Warlords Vie for the Realm is developed entirely by me as a solo developer. As I currently do not have access to professional localization, some in-game translations are machine-translated and may contain errors or display issues.
I will continue doing my best to improve each language version and polish the game as a whole. If you notice any translation issues or other problems, please feel free to let me know.
