Explore a spooky fantasy world, craft unique weapons, fight monsters, befriend magical fairies, fly an airship to visit sky islands, and build bases in this action sandbox adventure.
About
Weapons in Fairy Forge are 100% customizable, the handle, guard, and blade of each sword can be chosen from any material you find adventuring, and different combinations can unlock unique interactions.
Nearly every sky island has a ancient ruins for you to explore, and artifacts you can hoard.
Highlights include:
- Crystal that lets you shrink and grow freely and access new areas
- Cool Motorcycle you can repair, if you're not lame.
- Magic Paint Brush that lets you paint mana wires to power both new and ancient machinery
- Special location that lets you empower fairies in exchange for rare materials
- Several funny hats
- A sphinx that likes to play video games
- An ancient golem you can beat up so you can steal it's core, you monster.
- Vending machines for some reason.
- Amulet that lets you turn into a slime, not sure why you'd want that though.
- A bow that teleports you wherever it's arrow impacts.
Use magic by befriending fairies, they aren't just equipment, but full characters with unique appearances and their own personalities and memories. They'll remember if you treat them well, or if you're abusive towards them. Each one is unique, and completely hand drawn, using procedural generation to layer the hair, faces, head, and clothes on top of each other, in theory over 14 million different fairies are possible, so whoever you meet will be a companion just for you and you alone.
