Description
A dark, top-down pixel action game where everything is a weapon. Use melee and ranged combat, physics, the environment, and your hero's abilities to destroy enemies and wreak havoc in the arenas. Descend to the roots of the World Tree and reset the fallen world.
About
The Evergreen Tree nourished the world. Its sap gave strength, youth, and power over life. People found its roots underground and drank it dry.
A thousand years have passed. You awaken in the ruins of an underground world that has destroyed itself. Some have become monsters from an excess of essence. Others have degenerated into animals from a lack of it. All hunt each other for the last drops.
Combat in GRIMSAW is built on constant juggling: snatch weapons, barrels, and pieces of the environment, switch between melee and ranged combat - every arena offers a new way to wreak havoc. Explosive barrels, circular saws, aggressive mold, stunned enemies as living shields.
Descend to the roots. Before the world ends for good.
