About

Football, One Turn at a Time

Footy Strategy is a turn-based tactical football game that puts you directly in control of the players on the pitch.

Instead of relying on fast reactions, you must read the field, anticipate your opponent and carefully plan each move. Position your players, create passing options, protect dangerous spaces and find a way through the opposing defence.

Every turn presents a new tactical problem.

Control the Match

Move players into space, build passing combinations and create shooting opportunities while preventing your opponent from doing the same.

A good decision can open the entire pitch. A poor position can leave your goal exposed. Success comes from understanding space, predicting the next move and adapting when your original plan falls apart.

Direct Tactical Gameplay

Footy Strategy is not a traditional football management game. You control the action directly on the pitch.

Core match mechanics include:

  • Turn-based player movement
  • Passing, ball control and shooting
  • Positioning and passing-lane management
  • Possession changes and contested balls
  • Goalkeeper and penalty-area rules
  • Tactical attacking and defending

There are no complicated formations to simulate in the background and no need for quick button combinations. The result is decided by the choices made by both managers during the match.

Create Your Club

Choose your club name and colours, take your team onto the pitch and build your identity as a manager.

Compete against other players, improve your rating and see how your club compares on the leaderboards.

Play Online or Learn at Your Own Pace

Challenge other managers in online matches where both players compete under the same turn-based rules.

New players can learn the fundamentals through the tutorial and use practice matches to experiment with movement, passing and positioning before competing online.
