About

THE JOB INTERVIEW FROM HELL

Chelsea really needs a job.

So when she lands an interview at a print media company inside a mostly abandoned commercial building, she ignores the warning signs.

At first, the office seems normal enough.

The rest of the building doesn't.

Sealed floors. Dead elevators. Strange noises. A suspicious security guard.

And after Chelsea regains consciousness in the parking garage, she discovers something worse: Someone doesn't want her to leave.

EXPLORE. SOLVE. FIND A WAY OUT.

SHOCKFACE is a short retro survival horror game inspired by the fixed-camera horror games and slasher movies of the 90s.

  • Explore a deserted commercial building floor by floor
  • Solve item-based and environmental puzzles
  • Search rooms for clues, tools and optional evidence
  • Navigate using classic fixed camera perspectives and tank controls
  • Uncover what happened inside the building, and why Chelsea was brought there

YOU CAN'T FIGHT BACK

There is no combat.

When the killer is nearby, listen.

Learn the building. Find places to hide. Watch his routes. Wait for your opportunity.

Then move.

Getting caught isn't a fight you can win.

A 90s SLASHER YOU CAN PLAY

Meet suspicious strangers. Explore abandoned offices after dark. Discover hidden evidence and piece together the story as an ordinary job interview turns into a fight to escape alive.

Not everything you find is required to escape.

But some things may change what you understand about what happened that night.
