Knightfall Idle is a persistent medieval idle RPG. Your account progresses in real time, at your desk or away from it. Gather raw resources, process them into refined goods, send caravans to market for Azurite, and reinvest the profit into gear, kingdom buildings, trinkets, and passive tree nodes.
Every action earns XP in two pools, the skill you are using and your overall Account level. Account levels grant passive points. Server and client run on the same math, and the in-game wiki documents every cost, chance, and formula.
Processing is where raw materials become the goods everything else needs. Every action rolls for procs, including a chance to multiply your output 2x, 3x, or 10x. Stack procs and a single craft can pay out far beyond its base.
Spend Account level points across over 450 nodes split into three types.
Respec at any time using Errant's Coins, a rare currency that drops while playing Master's Coins, an extremely rare global drop, grant a permanent extra passive point.
Ten buildings, Castle, Lumber Mill, Mine, Dock, Barracks, Farm, Market, Library, Tavern, and Watchtower. Assign Woodcutters, Miners, Fishermen, and Fighters to produce resources every server tick. Workers eat food such as Bread, Cooked Salmon, and Cooked Lobster. Run out and production stops. The Watchtower reduces all action timers globally.
Trinkets are lootable charms you place on a tile board. Each one occupies 1, or 4 cells and rolls randomized prefixes, suffixes, and an implicit. Implicits mirror passive tree nodes, including powerful Axioms. Sacrifice spare trinkets to the Trinket Codex to register an implicit permanently, then level it up for an account-wide bonus.
Gathering and combat drop skill consumables with lasting effects. Three craftable consumables, Iron Tongs, Weighted Satchel, and Illuminated Scroll, stack a permanent stat bonus every time you use one.
Swear Vows for each activity branch. Every branch offers a pair of Oaths, pick one, plus a Covenant. Vows trade one benefit for another, such as crops that grow far faster in exchange for reduced Farming XP, or caravans that take longer but pay more.
Found or join a fief, a player run group with a shared item reserve, five roles (King, Steward, Vassal, Knight, Man-at-Arms), and per role permissions. Pool resources, upgrade fief buildings for guild-wide gathering and combat bonuses, and coordinate raids. Fief chat and the Raven mail system keep everyone in sync. Solo players can opt into a permanent solo fief for discounted costs and weaker raid enemies.
Cooperative PvE raids against bandit camps. Assign members to Combat, Gatherer, or Processor job roles. Raids tick on a timer, and your team's combined stats decide the outcome.
Through the day a bandit warband lays siege to the realm, and everyone on the shard defends together. Each round you pick a lane to strike, fend, or repair, and the town's walls and stores take the damage if you do not. Rewards scale with your contribution.
Five buildings are funded by the whole server: Bell Tower (extends the offline cap), Mason's Lodge (more event score), Merchant Guild (global drop rate), University (skill XP), and Scriptorium (an extra passive point per level). Anyone can donate and everyone benefits.
Prices are set by players, not the game. The Forge and Merchants guilds post their own contracts.
Sixty achievement ladders track everything you do, from gathering each resource to leveling every building and skill. Every tier you clear grants permanent increased loot, up to a large global bonus, and the top tier unlocks a profile icon. Progress counts while you are online.
Compete across ten categories, Account, Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing, Farming, Trade, Combat, Toughness, Processing, and Kingdom Management. Leagues run on a seasonal cycle. At the end of a league your character can migrate to the permanent realm, or you can play the permanent realm from the start. Wipes are never mandatory.
Earn prefix titles by leveling your account, or buy noble ranks such as Sir, Lord, Baron, and Duke with Premium Coins. Ranks show in chat and on your player card. Customize your card with an avatar, banner, and background.
Away time is simulated on return. Come back to gathered resources, finished processing, and completed contracts. The base offline cap is 8 hours, extended to 24 hours with Premium.
Premium is a subscription bought with Premium Coins, 5 coins for one month, and coins are $1 each on Steam. It adds quality-of-life only, no pay-to-win power.
Knightfall Idle is in active development. Planned features include Ironman mode, a Charm system, and fief PvP.
No energy timers. No forced wipe. The wiki hides nothing, and every number is documented in-game. Free to play, with an optional Premium subscription for quality of life.
