Overdrive 2048 is a 2048 × survivors-like mashup: slide tiles with one hand, mow down swarms with the other.
◆ Merging = Charging, OVERDRIVE on YOUR call
every merge charges a 3-segment energy bar. Hit [SPACE] to trigger OVERDRIVE — fire from 1 segment for a quick save, or hold out for all 3 and go full-throttle, longer and stronger, wiping the screen. When to go into overdrive is the core skill.
◆ Bullet-heaven combat
mix 15 main weapons with 10 passives, evolve maxed pairs into super weapons, and fuse two maxed mains into devastating fusion weapons — 17 evolved forms in total. Kill elites to drop treasure chests — spin the slot machine for up to 5 rewards at once!
◆ Mythic milestone protocols
hit 1024, 2048, 4096… each milestone offers 1 of 3 permanent run-wide protocols — boost your firepower, supercharge your OVERDRIVE, or even let the board auto-merge.
◆ Three modes
Normal (20-min challenge), Quick (10-min chaos, achievement-unlocked), Endless (exponential pressure + Steam global leaderboard).
◆ Meta progression
spend coins on 9 permanent upgrades, unlock 8 characters and hidden weapons through achievements — every run makes the next one stronger.
