A Strange School is a multi-perspective horror puzzle RPG. You play as Kaishiniang, a female middle school student. One midnight in the dormitory, you and your roommates Gezi and Yu Haiyan play a spirit summoning ritual. Unexpectedly, you are transported into a bizarre school dimension. Your adventure begins as you flee from the pursuit of ghosts. Featuring surreal and uncanny scenes, the game draws on folk legends and Taoist mysticism. Solve layer upon layer of puzzles and uncover the whole truth.

A group of middle school girls play a spirit summoning game in their dorm. The ritual gets interrupted halfway. At first, everything seems normal. But soon one roommate is killed by a ghost, and the others vanish without a trace. Will Kaishiniang escape the ghost’s clutches alive and reveal the truth behind the apparition?
