Maidendawn: A Heroine's Tale

A Medieval Fantasy of Heroism, Sacrifice, and the Cost of Doing what is Right

When a young village girl named Hinkle enters the service of Sir Gilkrist of Lothellae, she is eager to leave behind her life of poverty and abuse.

Until she is drawn into a war she cannot escape.

Cities burn, ancient powers stir, and a darkness long hidden begins to surface. Alongside new companions, Hinkle must navigate a world of faith, fear, and forbidden magic—where every choice draws her closer to a fate she may not be ready to face.

Secrets will unravel. Loyalties will fracture. And one truth will become clear:

Peace is not given freely.

It must be paid for.

This is not a tale of effortless heroism.

It is a story about what it takes to stand firm in the face of fear, doubt, and overwhelming loss—and what must be given up to see the fight through to the end.
