But in another world, a group of nameless little demons wants the same thing. So they disguise themselves as the legendary pilgrimage of five, setting off to find the Buddha. Can a cute cat, a lazy sloth, or a humble frog take the place of legendary heroes, survive 81 trials and tribulations, and finally attain Buddhahood  just like Wukong once did?
