Carve through thousands of demons on your way down the nine layers of Hell. Combine your own spells, chase legendaries that rewrite your build and craft the perfect gear between waves. A horde survivor with the loot of an action RPG. How deep can you go?
Hell sends thousands. You bring a build that shouldn't exist.
9 Layers of Hell is a horde survivor inspired by Dante's Inferno, with the loot and build depth of an action RPG. Pick Knight, Ranger or Wizard, lower the cage and fight your way down. Every run starts from scratch, and every run ends with a different build.
Turn a simple Fireball into an ice storm. Change its element, split it into a volley, make it hunt enemies down, then send it rolling through the horde. Every spell takes upgrades that change how it works, not just how hard it hits.
A staff that wraps you in a ring of hellfire. A bow that calls lightning down on shocked enemies. Boots that leave flames behind every dash. A sword that grows a blizzard around you with every frozen kill. There are over 80 legendaries. Each one changes how you play, and the right one is worth building your whole run around.

Hell is open for business.
And yes, Hell has a slot machine.
Every layer ends with a boss standing between you and the next one. Beat it and Hell curses you, but you choose how: tougher enemies, less life, faster demons. Every curse makes the descent harder and asks more of your build. Want more power? A demon will let you pick a legendary, for one more curse.
Unlock new classes, skills and permanent upgrades in the town of Florentia, then get back in the cage.
9 Layers of Hell is a one-person passion project. If it looks like your kind of game, a wishlist helps more than you'd think :)
