About
J. EL TANQUISTA
A third-person action shooter set during a Third World War.
Fight on foot, control tactical drones, and unleash chaos from your tank as you push through battlefields filled with enemies, missiles, explosions, and destruction.
You play as J (Jorgito), a soldier trapped on the front line. It isn't always easy to tell where the shots are coming from, and there is no single way to survive. You'll have to move, adapt, and make use of everything available to you.
You're not just a soldier.
You're a one-man army.
You can fight on foot in direct engagements, control drones as active combat units, or get into your tank and tear through the battlefield.
The aiming system lets you dynamically switch between third-person and first-person perspectives, combining mobility and control in close-quarters combat with long-range precision.
Each mission takes place in open environments with multiple routes. Move through different combat zones as you progressively unlock your path toward victory. The early levels focus on escape and survival against the clock, while later combat demands greater planning, positioning, and smart use of your equipment.
Your tank can be customized with different weapons and systems, including sub-cannons, mortars, automated turrets, and deployable drones. Weapons can be lost during missions, forcing you to improvise with whatever resources you have available.
Enemies and structures react to damage. Soldiers, turrets, and vehicles can lose parts, fragment, and be destroyed piece by piece. Projectiles also create craters in the terrain that affect mobility and positioning.
But J. El Tanquista doesn't end here.
BUY ONCE
You pay once.
I want to keep developing this game for years and use every sale to help make it bigger.
That way I can keep adding enemies, new mechanics, systems, and content.
All new content I add will be free.
I don't have a fixed list of everything I'm going to add. I want to keep experimenting, improving what already exists, and discovering what the game can become over time.
IT WILL PROBABLY NEVER BE FINISHED
J. El Tanquista will probably never be finished.
And that's exactly the point.
As long as I'm still having fun developing it, I'll keep working on it.
I don't know exactly what it will become one, two, or five years from now.
But I want to find out.
THE CHALLENGE
SALES: 46+
GOAL: 1,000,000
I'm an independent developer from Argentina, and I make this game alone.
Programming, systems, maps, optimization, design, and everything else: me.
I became a developer and discovered something pretty strange:
I enjoy making games more than playing them.
You're here to play.
I want to keep growing J. El Tanquista and see how far a game made by one person can go.
Let's see how far it goes.
SHARE IT
Would your friend like the game but can't afford it right now?
Share the store page with them and have them add it to their wishlist.
J. El Tanquista has no DRM and doesn't require an internet connection to play.
Maybe they'll be able to buy it later.
And if they can buy it now, even better.
Every sale helps me keep developing it.
Buy it. Play it. Share it.
