NOWHERE is a mystery investigation adventure that combines a compelling cast of characters with the logical satisfaction of classic detective fiction.

You play as Kim Yoohan, a former private investigator with “Absolute Memory”—the ability to remember everything he has ever seen.

Observe people’s clothing and behavior. Isolate key statements from their testimonies and deduce the intentions hidden behind their words. When your reasoning fails, revisit the evidence and revise your hypothesis.

The case never changes.

Everything Begins at a Convenience Store

On a dark, humid night, a convenience store employee is found dead from unexplained massive blood loss.

The suspects are the store owner and the victim’s fellow employees. What initially appears to be a simple crime of personal resentment soon begins to unravel as testimony conflicts with evidence from the scene.

The victim’s wounds. Traces left on their clothing. Objects scattered around the store. Statements that refuse to align.

What appears to be an ordinary murder soon leads to the truth behind a criminal presence spreading through the city.

Absolute Memory — Revisit the Past

Kim Yoohan never forgets anything he has seen.

Overheard conversations, passing scenery, and clues he thought he had overlooked remain intact within his mind.

Replay scenes from his memory and search for actions and details that escaped your notice the first time. Connect evidence from the past with contradictions in the present to expose the hidden structure of each crime.

But remembering the past does not mean understanding the truth.

You must determine not only what Yoohan saw, but what it means.

Observation and Deduction

Closely examine each person’s clothing, possessions, habits, expressions, and reactions.

Even the smallest detail may reveal a concealed motive or expose a carefully constructed lie.

Combine your observations, form the most plausible hypothesis, and uncover the meaning behind each character’s actions and testimony.

Expose Contradictions in Testimony

Select suspicious statements during conversations and challenge them using the evidence you have collected.

Not every deduction will lead directly to the answer. A failed hypothesis may reveal a new possibility or leave behind an unexpected question.

Discard faulty assumptions, reconnect the evidence, and work your way toward a more accurate conclusion.

Investigate Crime Scenes

Examine bodies and surrounding environments to collect the evidence that defines each case.

From fingerprints, CCTV footage, and autopsy reports to the victim’s clothing and seemingly insignificant objects left behind, every detail exists for a reason.

Even at the same crime scene, what you examine first—and how you connect the evidence—will shape your hypothesis.

Official Investigation and Private Inquiry

Use Yoohan’s dual position as both an investigator and a former private detective to uncover the truth.

• Official Investigation

Secure crime scenes, examine fingerprints, and obtain official evidence such as CCTV footage, autopsy reports, and police records.

Police authority grants access to powerful investigative tools, but not everyone will reveal the truth during a formal interrogation.

• Private Inquiry

Probe suspects’ psychology and obtain information that cannot be uncovered through official procedures alone.

Identify what each person desires, then use their emotions, relationships, and vulnerabilities to draw out hidden psychological clues.

Only by comparing physical evidence with private testimony can you approach the complete truth.

Main Characters

• Kim Yoohan:

  A former private investigator with “Absolute Memory,” unable to forget anything he has ever seen.

  Willing to use any means necessary, he is drawn into a police investigation by an offer he can hardly refuse.

  He recognizes lies and human cruelty faster than most, yet remains unable to escape the past preserved within his own memory.

• Kang Hyejeong:

  An elite officer at the Capital South Metropolitan Police Agency who places great importance on principles and purpose.

  Despite her strict adherence to procedure, she is willing to make use of Yoohan’s unconventional methods to solve a case. Through means he can hardly refuse, she recruits him into the Public-Private Joint Special Investigation Unit.

• Lee Sooyeon:

  Yoohan’s only family and the assistant at his detective agency.

  Gifted with an instinctive talent for profiling human behavior, she worries about Yoohan’s reckless actions while supporting him more closely than anyone else.
